I was also at !!!'s KEXP performance, and it was great, but their normal set (playing at the same time as Beck) was even better. And you should've checked out Dan Deacon instead of the Offspring! But yeah, Bumbershoot was great this year.

hey dustin. i was at bumpershoot and it was great to read your blog and relive some of the great shows. i was bummed that nada surf played at the same time as beck on saturday because i love nada surf. i couldn't miss seeing beck though! it was a great show. keep the northwest concert reviews coming!

Sorry for the headline, enrique. I thought it was clever.

    I like the headline...

But I don't like the lack of T.I. coverage. I want to know how his set went down. When I was actually considering making the trip T.I. and Beck were the only ones really swaying me in that direction since they were pretty much the only ones I wanted to see that I have never seen before.

Sorry about the lack of T.I. and Dan Deacon coverage. No excuse for T.I. other than I was checking out another band. I actually went in to see Dan Deacon, but it was in a really crappy venue (lots of echoing) and he played on the floor so unless you were near the front he was hard to see. I still want to check him out sometime.

    Flobots were epic. That's all.

Death Cab's setlist was weaksauce, inferior in every way to what they played at Edgefield. This was just a simple greatest hits thing. At Edgefield they dug out Photobooth and Your Bruise. Also, Company Calls without Epilogue? Blasphemy!
