Floggin Molly kicked total arce. I write for a small indie rag in Knoxville, TN called Blank News and I definately put them in my review. Also, John Butler Trio rocked out and was one of the more up-beat performers of the weekend, smiling and interacting w/the crowd, very appreciative too. We had a good time at Brazilian Girls & Gnarls as well. We had alot of fun on Sunday - my wife & I. I had been to the prev 3 Bonnaroo's but I think Lolla is going to be my festival of choice now.

Ha ha ha that dude in the black tanktop was the biggest fuckhead i have ever seen, i was right in front of him too, and would've done exactly the same, had i had the chance to get on stage. Also just a shout out to the prawn, my mate who ended up in the raft after girl talk fell out, ha ha ha, way too good for the lil fellar.

I suppose it is understandable that John Butler Trio would be overlooked on a blog. They are one of the most talented group of musicians that has largely been overlooked by the record industry in America. Too bad ya missed it!

When it's Slash on guitar, it's not too bloody hard to see what version was being played.

Um, it's really hard to take a music review seriously when they confuse Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" with Europe's "Superstitious." Also, "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" is a Bob Dylan song even if GNR covered it - give credit where credit is due.

The band managed to grab a larger than expected crowd, which enjoyed the set list ripe with new and old. No surprise that old timing hit, “Runaround”, received some accolades; however, the audience stuck around ’til the end. Good news for the Princeton quintet.

Nobody seemed to want to review Flogging Molly and I have to say, they took that festival home. The Playstation stage was wayyyyy too small to accomodate the audience Flogging Molly brought, and they really, really pulled it off. Everyone I saw was dancing or clapping or both.

So wtf? Where's Floggin Molly in this review?

not to be a dick...but while I would like for my city to take credit, Girl Talk is out of Pittsburgh, not Baltimore...that show was absolutely crazy, though it was pissing me off they wouldn't let more people on stage and from the left side of the stage where i was in optimal position to get up...and did anyone see the douchebag in the black tanktop on stage during his set? had I gotten on stage, i would have done all a favor and punch him the face...

It's great that you mention Love & Rockets, a band that was so important to those of us who came of age in the 80s. I was afraid that the number of blank stares that I got from younger folk when I mentioned the band's involvement with Lollapalooza signified that there is little sense of history when it comes to the musical radar of teens and twenty-somethings. You mention a "group of dancers, hidden behind black and white striped costumed and dome faced heads, ricocheted around and around." You are referring to The Bubblemen, a Love & Rockets alter-ego band that put on records concurrent with L&R. Cheers, August

you dont have flogging molly on here. To me they were one of the best shows of the entire festival.
